Where are the fixtures????

Recommended Posts

So Hertford know their first three games, but what about the rest? It's a bit of a joke we are nearly in August and still have not got the fixtures.. I know they only release them monthly, which is IMO a joke, but come on where are the first months fixtures?

They do them a month at a time. So .. August ones out now, September ones out soon! Wake up and smell the coffee Gavin, we're in the real world of Step 5 now!

PS I don't think the SSML specifically arrange Boxing Day games, you just play the Tuesday or Saturdays however they land..?

...

I think you will find we were in a step 5 divison LAST season !!!

All this just goes to show as I always thought, the move sidways to the Spartan IS a move DOWN. Step 5 in name, but the quality of the teams we will play, ground we will visit and the general league all point to a lesser standard of football.

That said, hopefully Edgware will walk this league and step back up to the Isthmian.

I am however looking foward to seeing new teams play, visiting new grounds, but it's just a general feeling that we have been moved sideways but in a way have beeen moved down.
