Epsom & Ewell v Croydon

Went to watch this pre-season friendly last night at the home of football - Merland Rise.

 

Epsom went 3-0 up after 15 mins and ended up winning 4-2. I don't think I have even seen 2 worse goalkeepers than each team started with last night! Gotta be honest and say that Epsom's one was totally dire! I'm sure AlbE's can confirm!!

 

Croydon were poor, Epsom slightly better to be fair but look shaky at the back.

They've lost 3 or 4 of their 1st team players from last season. In my opinion I think they'll be light up front and dodgy at the back. (Sorry AlbE's!)

 

Sent my boys off to run a few miles down to Epsom Downs and round the racetrack! I couldn't go, dodgy ankle!

Is Stuart Robbins the guy that played for E & E in goal against us last year Krooner at their place? The ex Cambo one?

Stuart Milliard was the ex Krooner in goal for them. Made friends with Veggiepunk if I remember correctly !

Yep, goalkeeping was poor all round.

 

BUT, we did win a game, which makes a change.
