What's the most pissed anyone's been for a City game??

 

We normally get quite well-oiled before an away game, but I can only remember two occasions when I was bladdered before a home game.

 

One was the Boston game when we were doing Tequila Slammers in The Crown at 11.00 whilst the Lincolnshire mongs were camping out on the grass outside the front of the pub.

 

The other was over Easter in 1998 when we lost 0-4 at home against Enfield. Thankfully I remember nothing about that game at all.

I don't know to be honest with you. The pre-season trip to Lowestoft sticks in the memory though. I expect this coming Saturday will be another mental beer day.

I remember that game, I'f just dyed my hair red and it rained and all the dye run down my face because I didn't wash it all out!

Pete's the best person to ask about it. The Hitchin fans and a gateman were befriended during the game, which we lost 3-2. Haven't had a game on New Years Eve since which is a bit of a shame really as it's the ideal excuse for a massive drinking session.

 

The game was before Thorns was liberated, so I guess he had a lot of time after the game to sort out his hair problem.
