Who said I wasn't giving him a chance. Is there anything wrong with having doubts in player?

Not really, I'm just wondering what you're basing it on in DeBolla's case when you haven't commented on Keeling, Opinel, Long, Quinn, Ekoku, etc...

 

Has he given cause for doubt in his games to date? I ask that genuinely, I'm not trying to be flippant.

Not at all. He has looked "decent" in our pre-season games, but no better than many of our other trialists I thought.

 

I honestly hope he does well for the club and scores a few goals whether that be from midfield or as a striker. Time will tell, as it will with every other new addition.

Strange that LD's words were that he was planning on building a team of young hungry players, I suppose most of the signings are reasonably young but are probably a little more experienced than perhaps was expected, no problem with that and I for one am pretty pleased.

On paper we look OK but let's not get ahead of ourselves, time will tell.
