Joined Boreham Wood in October 2002 from rivals and neighbours Hendon and then signed for Conference side Farnborough Town at the end of August 2003.

Had started to make a few first-team appearances for Hendon during the 2000/01 season.

A strong and capable defender, who has represented Jamaica at Youth international level.

Returned to the Ryman with Billericay Town in December '03.

Pat Sappleton - Defender

Pat arrived at New Lodge at the beginning of December 2003, making his debut in the 1-1 draw at Grays. Initially on loan from Farnborough Town, Pat subsequently signed for us on a permanent basis. Prior to joining Farnborough, Pat played for Hendon and Boreham Wood, and also represented Jamaica at Youth International level. After a series of excellent performances in the 2004/05 season, Pat received the supporters player of the year trophy.

Sappleton seems to be quite popular with some of the supporters at Billericay then. Represented the Ryman representative side in 2005.
