"Dad, could you go and pick the kids up from school at 1:00 ? Its too hot for them and they're closing the school !"

 

What the F*cks that all about ?

 

In my day, even if it was 110 degrees, you still had to do school work and air conditioning hadn't even been invented !

No sweet little lumps of sugar in my day - Just a bleedin' great needle jabbed in yer arm, [/b]AND[/b] the needle had been used on about ten people before !

 

Seem to remember the diptheria jab really DID hurt.
