I'd like to know if Lee Smith is still around too. Never understood why he didn't get more of a look-in last season and I'm sure he can score goals at this level

Seems to me its more about whether individuals are ambitious enough, or want to play for fun or just money. I understand Brad's recruitment drive has been based on the second and a bit of the third. Can't see it lasting, though.

Unambitious players are not required at ETFC. So, let's wish them well and move on, which after parts of Wednesday's performance won't be too difficult.

PS-I understand Lee Smith is on holiday.

obviously the management decided they could finish in the play offs with out using them on a regular basis, and guess what it worked.

If we have a squad of more than 15 then there will always be those who are not even on the bench, it is a fact of life.

All you can do is wait.... i hope jim changes the way he deals with his players this year, cause last year was a joke !! lyes to there face says one thing and does another dosnt tell you about why your not in the squad, cuts your money... the fans need to understand that there are alot of things that go on behind closed doors that you fans dont see !!

Dropping players is not the main problem. It is how you drop them and how you motivate them to fight for a place back in the starting lin up. It is about giving good reasons why a player is dropped and making sure the player knows why, be it form or tactics.

I think 12 months ago everyone at the club would have accepted being mid table, as it was such an unknown.

Expectations were raised BECAUSE we have one of the best management teams at this level, not despite them.
