Kieron is a big loss, a real quality full back/winger at this level disapointed to lose him, AJ's on field presence will be sorely missed he was a rock in the run in last season.

Two quality players with quality attitudes, lets hope the recruitment drive is finding able replacements.

Matty Negus next? Is there any news on him?

What the forest think about our new players.........

"Looks like Bastian and Tickner are at Enfield Town

Tree Surgeon (Waltham Forest), Tue Jul 11 13:51:08 2006

seems we will have top cope without two of our most experienced defenders - not expected at training this evening

Have to say that Jerky was a great club man but if he has gone - on last seasons form he will not be too greatly missed "

So who is Jerky?

So Ilford Fc are ETFC's new reserve side! I just hope they do not come up better than our own first eleven, whoever they may be.

I always remember the Liverpool team in the 60s and 70s. If a player was bought, then they would automatically go into the reserve team and it was very unusual for 2 players to arrive at Anfield during the same season. The player then had to work his socks off to get into the first team.

Graham Souness went there as manager and there were massive changes in one fell swoop. Outcome? It didn't work and he soon left.

I just believe that too many players have gone in too short a period of time. They got us to third place in the SL last year and they couldn't all have been not good enough for this time round?

Let's see what tonight brings?

This is what Hendon FC said about Ricci (player pics) and he looks very encouraging if fully fit again!

"Striker who originally arrived at Hendon in 2001 from Ware, for whom he scored 24 goals during the previous season. Ricci had begun to look a great prospect when an injury sustained at Gravesend during season 2001/02 put him on the sidelines with ligament damage. He returned to contention in January 2002 and went on to become the club's leading goalscorer for season 2002/03 with 21 goals to his credit. Ricci left Claremont Road for Cheshunt in 2004 but returned in October 2005 from Braintree Town. Has completed over 130 appearances and is approaching the 50 goal mark."
