Manorborn - What do you mean, where on earth did you get that impression from. You often talk in riddles on here and the same goes for Spidermanor and Lato, perhaps it's a Ruislip Manor thing!

Lato - Yes, an early night for a change, I would have liked to have got to Ruislip Manor to meet up with the Manor guys and Potters Bar Town but it sounds like they were well beaten tonight by Harefield, no doubt they'll be telling anyone who will listen that Lambourne, Kalu and the great Arthur Barker all had stinkers.

When you get round to it Rhodes, there's a thread just about tonight's game - the Manor boys don't seem to criticise their players on here ,even to annoy you - good on them I say!

Horace - Sorry the earlier post was meant for you not Lato. Well that's news to me, the impression I get is that they don't seem to rate Lambourne, Kalu or the great Arthur Barker at all, they should be grateful they have three class acts like them at Grosvenor Vale.

Rhodes, IN the other thread we have just been speaking in, you will see that Myself and Lato are praising Lambournes abilities, and Lato has Stated that he feels Lambourne is a first team regular.......How is this not rating him??

Can't you see that it's your silly hyping up of these players that winds the Ruislip boys up? It seems to me that they are perfectly happy to see these players do well for them, just like any other.

You are doing these players a huge dis-service by making silly claims about them. They play at level 5, not in the Premiership!

Well to 'feel' Lambourne is a first team regular, as was always the case at Haringey, is not suggesting that he is or definitely should be, he should be the first name on the team sheet every week. Personally I don't think Lambourne will last the season out at Ruislip and he will be off to a Ryman League Club before too long.

You're still doing it! He played for perennial strugglers at Haringey. If so many of these players are so good, how come? I saw him in action for the first time ever a week or so ago. He did not look out of place in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

I think if I were the Ruislip Manor manager, Mick Swaysland would be my first choice on the team sheet!

Thanks in advance for your welcomes to the forum!

I am acting on allegations that a fellow match official has been wronged on this forum! Here goes...

I have it on extremely good authority that the said referee has been injured since pre-season (July 22nd - reffing Hanwell Town v QPR XI to be precise!) and hence has only refereed two games since his promotion!

But I know he has been touched by your concern!

I also have it on exceedingly good authority, that he was 'taken off' the Biggleswade Town v Royston Town game 2 days prior by Referees Secretary Dave Carman, and instead, on Saturday 29th April 2006, he was sent to referee the 'rescheduled' game between Oxhey Jets and Haringey Borough, ably assisted by Mr Paul Swannell and Mr Graham 'no chance of a hurricane' Brown.

Haringey Borough lost to a goal late in the game, and unlike his replacement at Biggleswade Town that day, Mr Linden failed to book anyone in the ground, with no disciplinary action whatsoever in a game that had been previously abandoned!!

Two days later, some of you may recall, Mr Linden then refereed the Challenge Trophy between Hillingdon Borough and Ruislip Manor.

Hence Manorborn is correct, Mr Linden's lawyers are looking closely at the allegations, and hopefully this has cleared up your concerns about any rough patches or factually incorrect match reports!!

Again Rhodes do you actually READ posts that are sent, Myself and LATO where actually talking about the possibility based on both of our opinions if Lambourne could play at a higher level, if you got off your high horse and Read, maybe so many people wouldnt get the hump with u!!

3praise - Point taken but it's all if's and maybe's with the likes of you and Lato, Lambourne should be playing at a higher level full stop and he is selling himself short playing at Step 5. He will also improve far more as a player playing with better players around him, at the moment he is going nowhere career wise.

Potters Bar Town - Very amusing, actually I have my suspicions about Hair, obviously you know who it is as it's the guy you met last night at Grosvenor Vale, personally I still think it could be Dave Lambourne or the Great Arthur Barker, there must also be some sort of clue in his unusual 'title'.
