Nice one and welcome, that's yet another new Club, do you have a Website yet AWK as I remember trying to search for one a few months back when I was still with Haringey Borough and doing the links for their site, I'm with Kentish Town now. Yes Langford's site is the business, Red Robbo comes on here so you'll be able to chat to the legend. Have you by any chance got the draw for the Challenge trophy, it has been out a while but nobody knows what it is apart from a few ties.

www.th61fc.co.uk is the web site, not been updated for quite a while which is my fault!! I spend so much time on the programme i just fell behind on the site and it got to a point where i thought i would leave it for now. It will be updated for the new season and I'll TRY to keep on top of it, got quite a few ideas for it, but i must tip my hat to Red Robbo-how he continues to keep his Langford site up to date like he does is very impressive.

 

No idea on the draw for the Challenge Cup, dont even know who the 61 FC have got yet as ive just got back from holiday, i should find out tomorrow though and i'll see if i can get hold of the full draw.

Thanks Paula, don't want to come on too strong too soon but need to be a bit assertive or else Gavin will try to muscle in with you and my 'Clubman' or should I say former Clubman Rak is young free and single, it's his 21st this weekend and may try to invite you to the party at the Club. Sadly I won't be there as I'm banned from the Coles Park by guess who, the cross between Doug Ellis and Ken Bates.

Played for Cheshunt for a bit as well I think. Certainly was hard work to play against.. I was playing lone striker at Hoddy at the time and I can say it wasn't my favorite game to play in!! (No comments on the lone striker bit please, we WERE struggling that much!)

Where are you playing this season NeutralFan or is that a closely guarded secret?

Injured so no secret. Been out since December, consultant thinks it's cruciate and medial ligament damage. (Twisted it after foot got caught in a rut on Chalfont's cow field!).

 

Had a scan a couple of weeks back and back to consultant in two weeks time. (Maybe sooner as am sorting out private cover)

 

So once I get results of scan I'll know if I'm going to be playing again anytime soon. Whatever happens an op is on the cards so doubt I'll be playing this side of Xmas if at all this season.

Nice that actual players post in here as well as fans, can't see the likes of Frank Lampard or Thierry Henry doing that. I'll have to get some of the Haringey Borough players involved, they should be up for it particularly Captain Tommy Lambourne, still only 19 and going places. It will be interesting once the season starts when players post and give us (the fans) their take on the games etc.

oops should have read www.the61fc.co.uk though no doubt you worked that one out for yourself. Spoke to the 61 secretary and he doesnt know who we have got in the Challenge Trophy yet and further more when he spoke to the league fixtures secretary the other day he hadnt had a full list yet. Exactly, sometimes there are more players on this site then fans!!!!

 

The fact you can have a chat & a pint with the players after the game is one of the best things about watching football at this level.

Hi Guys just found the forum and a very welcome addition to the site. I am involved with St Mags or mugs as some have misspelt it!(I have a sense of humour) I am sure most will be able to work out who I am from the username!

Welcome Tubbsy8, great to have St Margaretsbury onboard who are very much a stalwart of the SSML with Station Road always being a good place to visit during the season particularly with your bar facilities. What sort of campaign are you expecting, last season was somewhat disappointing for you but I assume you have quite a few new players following your change of Manager. Do you happen to know the full Challenge Trophy draw so we can post it on here, nobody seems to have it.
