I don't know him that well. But my dad (Julian Hudson) is actually assistant manager to Shayne. I went to one pre-season training session this season.

Sorry I dont think I saw you play, I did not go to that many games in 04/05, last season I however I missed rarely any.

well i notched once in a 3-1 win at your gaff,

and assisted in a one nil win at home.

 

I'll be at Biggs Utd this year, good bunch of lads and good people - a well run club.

 

Have the manor sorted the cashflow problems?

Gavins an Edgware man. Yeah I recall you causing Manor probs in the second half at our place last year Robbie.

 

To all who don't know, Biggs United (we use the affectionate term Little Les at Manor) is a friendly club, we enjoyed our visit last year apart from the result.

You are always guaranteed a decent bit of grub at Second Meadow as a player - although the new pie hatch is doing a roaring trade with the fans!

 

Little Les - quite funny - ill put that on the prematch chalkboard this year for a bit of motivation!

I better watch what i say about the 'scum', i think they realised last season that we are by far the superior side. All they did was throw money at mercenaries who didnt fancy putting there balls on the line, where it is rare that we do not put in 100%, even if we do play poo occasionally.

 

Is the Manor having any ground improvements?

I remember lots of wood from my last visit?!

Still lots of wood but its been painted!!!

 

And the away dressing room is bigger..you can probably swing a cat in there now whereas previously you'd have struggled to rotate a mouse.

OK, fair enough Gavin. I am not sure where I will be this season. My groin is now 100% recovered from the operation and is in perfect condition for the first time in about 3 years!!!

I have been training with a club in the Southern 1st but a more local club in the Ryman Prem has asked me to come down, which I will do as logically its a highher level and less travelling.

However as I havent spoken to the manager yet I will not broadcast it over the net just yet!

Gavin - Hi, I know Rak and yes he's great, he has played for Haringey Borough and was at Heybridge Swifts for a while before leaving due to the travelling, surprised you haven't seen him in action. I see more Club's are slowly getting to know about the Forum such as Biggleswade United and New Bradwell St Peter, good news travels fast. Can't wait to see if Hoddesdon Town join in, no doubt they will be going on about 'War and Peace', er sorry their programme.

I know the current Edgware set up very well. Nice people and can see them doing well this year.

Always been really good with me.

Ken Batten is much better then the old Chairman (Anthony someything or other who owes me a few hundred quid although I will never see it!)

Del asked me to play this season, however I am motivated to play higher, especially now my injury problems are behind me.

I think realistically Edgware should be aiming for promotion either this year or next.

I will be looking out for their results and hoping they do well. Would be nice to meet in a cup this season!
