Just got back about 30minutes ago. What a cracking performance after a poor run of from and luck. Im going to try not to single out players, but find it hard when the likes of Mark Bentley, Danny Lye and Che Stadhardt played like they did today!! well done. What a fantastic performance, in the second half we could have had a hatful, Strouts, Tostao( once again impressive in the little time on the pitch ) and others could have scored. The TEAM played brilliantly throughout and Jamie Coyle deserves some more credit now as he played out of his skin today.

The main point i wanted to make was that of Craig Wilkins!! how can we stand by and let him go - i know he doesnt want to play in defence and as a striker i wouldnt when asked, but he is exceptionall;y good at it for a powerhouse striker. I thought Craig had a blinder today and if there was anyway we could keep him we have to try. Great servent to the club, great effort and very skillful - please stay Craig!!!

My MOTM - Mark Bentley - endless runs and never ending battling

Well done Fleet - more of the same Saturday at home and throughout Christmas and who knows. Well Done Andy in the circumstances.

Copme On you reds and the supporters that travelled today brilliant.

Congratulations on todays win. I wouldnt exactly say you played excellent but you did a good job as a unit. I think a draw would have been a fairer result but if we were going to lose I cant think of a better goal to lose to. Well done!!

amazing how quickly it has gone from "rant" to "excellent" dont you think? i know that we were appaling last week and havent really performed to our abilities as well our team should but i do feel that people overeacted, and now this week those fortuante to go to nuneaton will be singing our praises. We're going to have bad spells, this isnt the ryman league, we are a small club in comparison, get used to it. Stick behind the team and we will do well, yes, give them stick here, it is a forum, but get behind the players when it matters,on the pitch.

Spot on, Richard C - Bentley was my MOTM too. The players looked as though they really wanted it today, and looked a totally different side to last week, with a superb 25-yarder from the outstanding Danny Lye to win the game. Wilkerson had only one really strenuous save to make, and despite a nerve-racking finish to the match, I felt that the three points were fully deserved. Andy must have rattled a few cages last week, and boy has it paid off. Hopefully this will give us confidence going into next week's crucial match with Forest Green.

Also, well done Richard C for mentioning Wilko - I'll be devastated if he leaves, for his versitality is vital to the team in my view. Don't go Wilko!

Fantastic team performance today - it would be wrong for me to pick out any more names, having witnessed the fantastic effort put in by so many of the lads today. Andy might find it hard to bring back today's suspended players next week after such a tight defensive display!

Isn't that is what we did?

Last week the team played badly - this week was a job very well done.

MoM - Bentley, Giles looked good at the back along with Wilkins & co......Tostao as superb as ever when he came on halfway through the 2nd half, Coyle raised his game with a good solid performance. Wilkerson never troubled.

8/10 performance because we didn't look that good up front.

As somebody said - we played well as a unit.

Almost forgot......what a goal!!!!!

My man of match would have to be Mark Bentley too! Never ending running at the defenders, great mazy runs, had them tied up in knots! BUt the point i made about STeve McKimm how we need him because he always battles in midfield, on the performance of danny Lye today, i think he can easily fill the void, battled hard throughout and provided some classy balls through to the likes of Bentley, Tostao and Che! Well played Danny and Mark! BUt the team performance was great too!

Well Done Boys, a great battling performance, a remarkable improvement from last week.

I thought Che was a breath of fresh air on Saturday, going for absolutley every ball and causing the defence problems throughout. Not too many chances to speak off but what a goal from Lye.

I was a bit dissapointed to see that BBC1 had his name as Andy Lye on teletext last night. Many more goals like that and everyone will get his name right.

I thought the ref had a good game too. Which always makes for a better game.

Well worth the trip up there!!
