The British Government says that the 8 ships are there to get British nationals out of Lebanon which will bigger than the evacuation of Dunkirk.So far they have "saved" 30 with another 10,000 in the country

 

Lets get this information RIGHT

 

At Dunkirk 330,000 troops were rescued from CONTINUOUS gun fight from German planes and shells. There was only ONE way out of the area, through the beach and sea

My uncle got the DSM for saving thousands of lives whilst staying on his ship for 7 days solid going back and forth to Dunkirk when his ship was bombed and shelled.

 

HOW DARE A COMPLETE AND UTTER WASTE OF SPACE OF A LABOUR GOVERNMENT COMPARE THE TWO.

British personel died saving lives in 1940 now there is other options and the attackers are NOT trying to kill British people

So they said SINCE then BB, sounds right to me then now! Lets hope makes Frankie feel better now! Nothing will ever be more important than that evacuation and my admiration & thanks go to those who risked life & limb saving the troops

Here, Here. We see the footage of those poor guys being pounded on the beaches and cannot imagine what it was like.

A family in my village used that piece of film showing the lines of troops walking out into the sea as a way to help their mourning process. One of those gaunt lost faces belonged to a brother. It was their last sight of him. He was later recorded as missing in action. His body was never recovered.

At least they took comfort in knowing roughly where he died and have been over to lay flowers on the sea.
