the chelmo island keeper was poor in the conference,didnt command his area. always got the impression that the back four were nervous when he played.but maybe ryman level will be be OK for him.one word of advice to ricay,when you play chelmsford- put plenty of crosses in <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Of course, you could argue that it's a team of Canvey reserves that had a little Conference experience but were not good enough for a regular place...?

 

Or a team of players that have had their day and no other club wanted?

 

I find it amusing that PF makes his comparison on one of the few games Canvey actually won last season...

when canvey dropped points last season it was usually McKinney who was the weakest link.

a nice enough lad who struggled at a higher level. as i said he may do very well at ryman prem level.

incidentally in previous preseason friendlies canvey normally lost by a goal to nil to sufc!

anyways will shut up now cos this is the ricay forum and they will be fed up reading [****!!****] about chelmo.

Of course, there is last nights game v Bishops Stortford...According to some Claret, it was a close game...BS winning 3 zip, close isn't a word I would use. Then again, you can expect a Conny South team to put more effort in to beat a "Conference" team!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
