What had happened to the 'lady's dad' is irrelevant. You didn't even have the decency to find out whether the information you were given was true. As it turned out it was untrue. I bet Paul Nichols, his family and friends are well chuffed with you. Nice one mate.

So, you're a Conference side? I thought you had to get promoted from the Ryman and then the Conference South to be one of those? Obviously not. Last time I looked, you are still a Ryman side. Then again, I wear glasses...and not the rose coloured ones you issue your supporters with. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Not better no but it makes us able to enjoy what we have got now. Call it BBB, call it what you want but from Saturdays performance it should be a very good season for us

Not better no but it makes us able to enjoy what we have got now. Call it BBB, call it what you want but from Saturdays performance it should be a very good season for us

Ryan did...and as a rather humerous aside, it got people going...

But I did miss the "We are a Conference side" comment...quite amusing that.

 

Bub, I temper my comments, with the service that those that have played for us with a little more respect than I have read by you lot. I remember Gavin used to play for us..."Flappy" we called him BUT he did pull of some great saves and had some good games with us. After he left, we wished him well...

When I stated that Chelmsford City have a Conference team I of course meant that Chelmsford City have a team of Conference Standard rather than the construction which you chose to place upon my words....

 

And my justification for this?

 

Here is the squad which appeared for Canvey in a 2-0 win at Halifax Town on April 29 2006 in the Conference-

 

D Potter, J Conroy, B Chenery, S Ward, S Bimson, J Kennedy, M Noto, J Minton, J Keeling, J Hallett, D Clarke

 

Of these eleven, 7 started for Chelmsford on Saturday, the other four being Tony Battersby of Grays (Conference), Peter Smith (signed from Conference Canvey a year ago,) trialist Dominic Carmianti (who started because Kezie Ibe, signed from Canvey was injured - Kezie came on as substitute in the Halifax game in the Conference) and goalkeeper McKinney who was deputy to Danny Potter last season for Canvey in the Conference.

 

I repeat, Chelmsford City have a Conference team.... Not BBB. Fact.

Shame you ain't got Danny Potter - much better than Richard McKinney (IMO. Without a decent goalkeeper you're stuffed.

 

Ricay never thought i'd say this but rooting for you against Canvey MKII (oops I mean Chelmsford) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Richard MicKinney is more than good enough at Ryman premier level...

 

TC and Gazza just sound so stupid thinking that Billericay will do anything this season with there current squad,a wake up call will come loud and clear by the 19th Aug for sure!

 

Just admit that Chelmo and 5 or 6 other clubs have left you behind!
