Today's gigs!!

Did three gigs today.

 

The first - supporting the Pockets Gods in the Robin Hood - was a bit embarrassing, as there was no PA, so we have to play unplugged and acoustic, but hey, couldn't be helped.

I also joined Mark and Ani for their set closer - Oily Smooth Penetration! Excellent fun!!

 

Headed over to the White Lion by about 6pm, where Paul Watson was hosting a wonderful late afternoon's entertainment, with an outdoor gig in a marquee that was set up there.

 

Justin Starck, Bill Johnson and Sara Walsh also played sets, and I did my second set of the day at about 6.40pm, playing the following songs...

I reckon there were 75-odd people outside, and it was great to have a genuinely appreciative crowd listening, and, dare I say it, applauding each song.

 

So, we left the White Lion about 8pm, I grabbed a burger from Marmaris, and then headed down the Horn for my third set of the day, by which time I was fcking knackered, as were Bill and the Pocket Gods, who had also reached the magic number!!

 

As is the rule at the Open Mic night in the Horn, it's just two songs each! I went on about 9.15pm, third act in, and did the following...

Was about ready to curl up in the corner for a kip after my set there, and I'm surprised I'm still awake now to be able to leave this message!!

 

Felt I played really well at all three venues today, after, frankly, crap performances last Sunday (Horn) and Tuesday (Boot).
