Sorry to read in the NLP of the death of Dave Collyer, Sutton's keeper in the late seventies and early eighties. Those of us as long in the tooth as me will remember Dave as one of the first keepers to enjoy regular banter with the crowd behind his goal. During the quieter periods or during stoppages, Dave would instantly wheel round and start nattering to all and sundry about the game, the weather, Coronation Street, anything. Sad news.
