The odds dont look right Michael do they? But I checked & they ARE on the Stan James site so they must be their interpretation of things. Somehow I think they have things wrong but then again other Bookies could well see things differently. Must remember though that the Bookies are not normally far out.I await other bookies prices before I see a clearer picture. Something tells me there are going to be mass differences of opinions on this original list & prices with other bookmakers.Interesting!!

I think they are going by how teams done last season, otherwise i think we would have been one of the favourites if they saw who we have brought in. Billericay only 25/1 that is a bit of a surprise and even more so Hampton & Richmond are favourites. That will all change by November.

Dead right about the odds tumbling GW. I thought they were too good to be true. Now down to 20/1 as you say. Even thats still a good bet. I notice Chelmsford are down to 13/2 too from 12s.

Below are updated odds from Stan James after just 24 hours. Plenty of money being thrown down...or was it that the compilers just made big errors or have have been tipped off. Either way we are still a good bet at 20/1.

As for your bet Peter I doubt I will get odds on that kind of bet just yet,if at all. Its been a long time just getting the outright odds out so for speciality bets such as yours it may take longer or need to be asked of the bookmaker. Sorry I cant help you with that one for now.I shall investigate.

our odds sound about right now to be honest, although i still disagree with Hampton & Richmond being favourites my money is on Chelmsford to win the league and i think Carshalton will the surprise team this season and end up getting relegated.

On paper Alex I really cant see our odds staying at 20/1 even. Further punts will force the price down further I'm sure.Theres been an almighty error made here with the Gates prices.I envisage further price cuts down to around 12/1 i.m.o. Still time to take this price of 20/1. Like I said ON PAPER we have the look of a championship winning side. Further signings will only force this price down even more.

I can also see the favourites price being around the 7/1 mark & us being in the top 5 in the betting come start of season.After that its all down to results.

Whatever price we are whether it be 33/1 or 12/1 we still have to do it on the pitch. This is me keeping my feet on the ground but we really wont have a better chance of promotion than we have this season with the additions already brought in. A couple more class signings & I would EXPECT us to be there or roundabouts come the end of the season.
