the worse that could happen is if will returns to the reserves but hes good enough so he might be first choice depending on who is at the club at the start of the season

Can the club explain what is a contracted player and what hold have the club on him?

Who else is contracted and who else has signed for this season along with the four new players it might put a stop to all this guessing game if names are there for all to see. Is this game on Wednesday a trial? friendly? first squad. mixture of first and ressies. wHAT TIME ko

I am sure that Steve will correct me if I am wrong but a contracted player is a player that can play for that club and that club alone, unless the contracted club allows the player to go on loan to another club.

 

With non-contract players you have to submmit a seven day approach to a club in order to speak to the player. Once the seven days is up the approaching cluc can speak to the particular player. With a contracted player the club can refuse permission to the approaching club.

 

The new squad list will be announced very shortly.

 

Wednesday's game is really all those things rolled into one. Ut is a friendly and will be used as a trial for some of the new faces. It will also contain first and reserve team players from last season. The kick off will be 7:30pm.
