Rhodes
Kentish Town 3 Old Aloyiusios 2 - Yet another excellent performance from Kentish Town this afternoon in a hastily arranged friendly with 'Old Boys' outfit Old Aloyiusions played on the training ground behind Hendon FC's 'palatial' Claremont Road ground. Aloyiusions raced into a 2-0 lead early on catching Town cold however a Chris Zanre hat trick won the game following a one sided second period. More later. Yeah there cr@p. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> They had a HUGE defender about 6'4" but not a lot of good. Actually they wern't too bad and they did like a tackle or two (although a bit rough at times). They had a good defence (IMO) but we managed to fight through. Forwards a bit scrappy. Couldn't tell ya who played as no team sheet. Their goalie in the second half though was a midget - about 5' 6" but he done quite well. All in all not a bad game! Sorry if i'e offended anywone!! What division are they in eactly?? Is it SSPL 2??

Rhodes
Yes I was round our Chairman's house after our friendly match yesterday and as most people on here who know him, such as Lato, Manorborn and Potters Bar Town, will tell you he does move in high circles so I guess I was honoured to be using his state of the art computer to post my brief match summary. Just to reiterate that it was another frightening performance from the team despite us going two goals behind in the first period possibly through over confidence which is no bad thing. Chris Zanre who is the Manager's son was on great form pulling a goal back just before the interval and hitting two more great goals in a one sided second period when we could have added another two or three. Interesting to hear about Biggleswade Town's tactics at Canvey Island, they are not normally renowed for strong arm play but I believe have a new Coach who has possibly brought in some of his own men, at least Lato has been warned by the lovely Paula for when they meet Ruislip Manor during the season. Rhodes
Hertford Town have very kindly offered Kentish Town a friendly at their Hertingfordbury Park home next Tuesday, kick off 7.45, and I have grabbed their arm out of its socket as it will be a great opportunity to show what we can do against top class opposition just four days before the big kick off and our first league match at Stony Stratford Town. I won't start shouting from the roof tops that we fancy our chances but we certainly hope to give Hertford a run for their money whilst finalising our best starting line up for the Saturday. Rhodes
Well it's true isn't it, you are the SSML Premier Division favourites afterall and it will be a privilege for us to pit our wits against you next Tuesday and play on the hallowed Hertingfordbury Park turf. Don't worry we won't do a Brook House!

Rhodes
Neutralbob - I thought you supported Brook House, I was referring to the disgusting 'no show' at Hertford Town last Saturday leaving Hertford all dressed up with nowhere to go. Rhodes
Er well aren't Hertford Town favourites for the SSML Premier Division, if not who are. I thought people were going on about the old Ryman Division 2 being a cut above the SSML Premier and your support alone, particularly away from home where it's usually one man and his dog, is points in the bag in itself.
