Football Man
And how did they come to turn up with the wrong kit in the first place? Any chance they were misinformed when the match confirmation was sent out?
Rhodes
Potters Bar Town - No chance at all, it's common knowledge we play in blue and it is also down as our home colours in the handbook for all to see, speaking of which do you want me to put a copy in the post to you as suggested last week. Quote: Rhodes said: You may be interested to hear that we regularly send our players out into the local Community to visit hospitals, help old ladies across the road and generally press the flesh which also helps to raise our profile. This pic is from one of the many Community projects we're involved in: Potters Bar Town - Check my post of 9 October on this thread at 03.51, there is a picture of the project. The project leader Ros, who is also the psychiatrist, gets into the players heads in a sort of Mr Spock fashion, it has helped us enormously on the field of play and another reason why we're flying high at the top of Division 1. GRS67
All these people having a go at Rhodes, but the league table does not lie, they are top and thats amazing. No home no real support yet they are top of a step 6 division. Will you be allowed to go up if you win promotion Rhodes, as I doubt Hendon will stay at Claremont road past this season, Where will you play? Ahsburton grove? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I've just checked that post again, Rhodes. Can't see where it says that the project leader is also your psychologist. Hence the question "in what way" is a pretty reasonable one to ask in the circumstances. No good getting tetchy at me just because you've upset Paula this afternoon! That a club who has not much support and have no ground to call thier own are top of a semi pro league to the standard of step 6 in the non league system
NeutralFan
Let's get serious Gav, it's sometimes debatable as to whether you can really class the SSML Premier as semi pro let alone Div 1 ?!? Interested in other peoples opinions here, obviously the players like to say they are semi pro as it sounds good when they're bragging but personally I think you're streching it a bit past Ryman 1 / Southern East etc
ONE
I must admit NF is pretty spot on there...although having seen a few ryman 1 games this season...its certainly not that much better than the SSMPL

Gavin - Thanks for your kind support mate, it's really appreciated, I've had a really rough ride on here all day what with Paula giving me the Alex Fergusson hairdryer treatment and I'm starting to get a bit fed up with it to be honest, I don't need it but then I just take another look at the top of the Division 1 table as you say.
