Lack of news

Things seem to have gone a little quiet on the GNFC news front, some might, in fact, say things have come to a shuddering halt. No confirmation or denial yet from the club of the proposed friendly away against Chelmsford on the 5th, which by the way has been on their web site for over a week, rumours about a game at home against the MK Dons. No further additions to the squad with only 5 days until our opening friendly against Folkestone. I realise it isn't possible or indeed helpful to keep us abreast of every titbit of information or rumour but please give us something. The signings so far look good and my spirits had been raised for the upcoming season but this lack of anything is becoming concerning. Anything, anyone…….

I think Liam is waiting on news of the Juve 'everything must go' stock clearance, expect news of Buffon, Zambrotta, Viera, Camoranesi and Del Piero signing for the Fleet later this week....Cannavaro and Thuram won't be coming as they have seen Ross play and they want to go somewhere that will guarantee them first team football.

No Italian strikers, thanks. Our forward line wasn't that impressive last season, MacDonald aside, without bunging in a few blokes like Toni (surely Tony Cascarino in disguise?).
