Minus one Director - A special thank you

We have a departure of one of our more "popular" directors. Not a departure from the terraces but from his position on the board.

This man is ANDY PAGE.(pagester)

I'm sure the club will make a statement soon about this, however,without it being a secret, I thought I would give a tribute to a really nice guy.

This chap is always seen on the terraces,amongst the supporters & has this season sponsored the new fixture cards that are due out soon which I for one thank him massively.A down to earth guy & a very friendly person too.Never fails to talk to the fans on matchdays or any other day come to that.On a street in Margate last year he came down in the pouring rain to help dish out leaflets about the clubs games & the golden gate lottery. Unfortunately he missed Graham & I who had had enough of the rain & deserted streets & called it a day.

He is always on those terraces & if you didnt know he was a director you would have thought he was just another supporter like us.Always helping out sometimes as a steward/doorman at the bar entrance.In other words "doing his bit". Always with a smile on his face whenever you see him.

I dont know the ins & outs of his departure from his post but for whatever reason this is one guy who really really cares about the club & who put his name up for a directors post when we needed the support up there most.

He will be missed I'm sure as a director but he will remain with us on those terraces supporting the club we all love.I think he deserves a drink from each & everyone of us if we see him around at or near the bar & and give him a massive thank you for the fixture cards.
