Was in Bedford last night with our manager Kevin Wilson talking over a possible transfer. Is he any good?

The legendary Jimmy Heeps, really sad end to his career as his kid got really ill and he HAD to devote a lot more time to his family. Since he had to go we have tried 5 blokes between the sticks and none of them are even a third as good as our brilliant goalie... Bummer!

If he didn't move to Hitchin which was his home town club i'll be surpised if he joined Bedford.

As long as that first class tit Duncan Roberts doesn't end up in goal, Bedford can have him!

Don't listen to MAD too much, B_E. Wilmot is a good keeper, good shot stopper and good on crosses. Good all round basically. A bit injury prone, and possibly past it at 34. There's a reason why he was our player of the season last season, however.

 

Hopefully, Duncan Roberts was talking to KW, and not Wilmot. BTW, if you're looking for an excellent, reliable keeper, try EFMTFTV.

Don't bother with EFMTFTV he's our second worst keeper ever. Isn't he GHA.

Think about it Tony. Why would any manager is their right mind sell Wilmott over Roberts? Roberts wasnt at the game on Tuesday and Wilmott was. Roberts lives in Bedford too doesnt he?

 

Also, I think Rob Gould has now gone on loan to Bishops Stortford.

Duncan Roberts has just signed for us..........I may have made a 'little' mistake but was told on good authority that Richard Wilmott was in Bedford on Wednesday night.
