Exceptional,considering.(includes those 10 Millwall fans evicted from the ground).But lets not talk about that.Only saw last 40 minutes but looked like a good work-out for the boys.Could have won the game too but overall a good effort.Cant comment on first half having not been able to get there earlier.

Nice reply Ramsgatehammer. Lets hope your friends over there are as friendly & sensible with their comments this season as you have been with yours today.(wont hold my breath). Will make a nice change to have some sane & sensible comments between the two sets of fans this season. However dont think that that entitles you to finish above us this year! l.o.l.

As for your question a PAYNE was on the Millwall teamsheet though whether thats the same player that you mention I am not sure of.I would have thought it was.

Don't suppose those of you who are familiar with any of our young substitutes who came on or who didnt get on could give us a bit of info on them to help us familarise ourselves. One or two or them impressed me but not sure who is who in which position.

Well here are a few points of interest about Elliot Payne:

 

Position: Centre/left midfield.

Age: 17

Previous clubs: Ramsgate, Chelsea, Arsenal and Kent (at some sort of youth level); also had trials for Kettering Town last week but chose Margate instead.

 

Other notes: left footed; rarely picks up injuries; not known for his pace; he can read the game fairly well; also renowned for his dead-ball skills (scored 15 goals direct from corners).

I saw in the KM Extra today that apart from the keeper that was on trial all the other players Robinson, Payne, Smith and one or two others are in the reserve players.

I hadn't picked that up but it sounds good to me. If the ressies have players that RT is interested in then that can only benefit the club in the long run and help to encorage younger local talent to get involved with Margate.
