The ground is just behind Biggleswade Town’s.

 

Biggleswade United - formed 1959/60 Division Three of the North Herts. League (NHL).

Stayed for the 10 years – then up to South Midlands League (SML) football.

Stayed 15 years – then joined the Herts. Senior League

 

In 1986 back to local League football, joining the Bedford and District Football League – went down to Fiv 3.

1996/97 – back to Division One of the SML.

1997/98 - granted Senior status. With the help of the Biggleswade Town council a new stand was erected and perimeter fencing installed. And two season later the club erected floodlights and on the evening of 26th October 1999

Moved into SML Premier in 2005-06 - finished ninth

 

Last season – FA Cup – lost 0-6 tp Hendon

FA Vase – lost 2-1 to Walsham-le-Willows

 

Location - From London/Stevenage via the A1. Turn right at the Sainsbury roundabout and proceed over the river bridge. Take second left into Sun Street just before the car garage. Take next left into Fairfield Road. Proceed along this residential road, past neighbours Biggleswade Town FC and Cricket club and into the lane at the end. Our ground is located at the end of the lane.

I have been to Biggleswade United. Their ground - and that of Biggleswade Town - is in a public park and they are separated by a hedge! (BTFC are sharing at Bedford Valerio this season due to ground works.)

United's ground is very basic. Tiny stand on halfway line and that is it! Nice little bar though.

No because Town are not playing at their own ground.

I seem to remember the fog closing in as well, made the second half a bit .... challenging to appreciate albeit that we thrashed them.
