Does anyone have any details, please?

[i have just checked on the Luton FC web-site, and they are sending the first team to us. The Mighty Blades are to be playing Sparta Rotterdam on August 5th, and they are sending a Reserve team to us that day.]

Hi Webbo.

Although I have a press pass, I should state categorically that I have always chosen to buy a season-ticket at Clarence Park and, indeed, I sent my cheque for this coming season to the chap who used to drive the red tractor well before June 30th in order to take advantage of the club's concessionary offer of free entry to one of the pre-season friendlies. I've mentally selected North Greenford United as the 'free' game.

You know my views of 'freeloaders' which need not be repeated here.

And in case it crosses your mind, I have decided that my name should not be put forward for the prestige award of "Clubman of the Year 2006/07", in order that the field is left clear for far more deserving cases. If I had a vote, it would probably go to the chap who does the burgers and the bar. I wonder if he painted the main stand blue?

Anyway Webbo. I'm glad we've cleared that up. Now, back to more pressing matters. Who might know the admission prices for the pre-season friendlies, the first of which takes place next week, I believe?

If you turn up early, don't expect any change if offering a £50.00 note.

Are there plans to use the services of ExtraStaff or other contractors on the turnstiles this season, considering we will have much larger attendances? They were used a few seasons back, but it wasn't the same not seeing a familiar face when entering the ground.

£12 to watch a Conference Nationale side take on the might of Championship contenders Luton Town FC 1st XI, Webbo? Cheap at twice the price, mate.

Any idea of the pricing structure for the visit of Mighty Sheffield United Reserves? Now I reckon that the youngsters from the Blades will provide t'lads with a stern test, actually. That should be a good 'un.

Webbo. Everyone on here knows that the man what owns the internet pays you £25 every time someone logs on to Rob's web-site so I'm going to spoil it for you [and probably cost you two or three hundred thousand pounds.

Adults: £10

Concessions £5

Children U 14: £3

[North Greenford United: £55]

Oh, by the way, Webbo. I hope that you have learned a lesson today, mate. Get the facts and information accurate in your posters, for Heaven's sake. It's c0ck-ups like that, mate, that cost this club £20,000 a year. Do try to keep up. You'll appear in the match-day programme if this carries on.

The BIGGIE was last night, GHA. Against "Returning England". We won 7-3. The paper-boy scored a hat-trick, but Seebs dealt with Joe Cole without any bother. Every single time the Chelsea central midfield-player/England left-winger received the ball, the crowd chanted '1-2-3' [for each step-over] and then 'Now' a split-second before he cut inside to cross with his right-foot. Chris read it like a book and had him sorted from the start.

2 from Matt 'Matty' Hann and three for Clarkey, and one each for Tom Davis and Ram Marwa. Tom looked the part. Owen Hargreaves played in goal and was probably their Man of the Match, after the boy-scout.

Tha attendance was 3. I'm not sure whether the £147 admission price was a deterrent on reflection, or perhaps it was Webbo's posters. Wrong date, wrong opposition, wrong ticket price, but quite colourful. It didn't worry me. It was my 'freebie' on the early season-ticket initiative thingy. On reflection, I've decided to pay for the North Greenford United game.
