I bet The Who were awesome. Saw them at The Valley, Charlton in 1973 and Wembley (one of the 1st ever outside Wembley Stadium gigs) in 1978, when they were supported by AC/DC, The Stranglers and Nils Lofgren. Top day that was - a mate of mine who at that time lived in Alperton, which is a few miles away stood in his back garden and could hear it all quite clearly, it really was one loud gig!!!

 

One of the greatest British rock bands of all time without a doubt, The Who although sadly Keith Moon and John Entwistle are obviously no longer with us now.
