Talking of Yeading Fc.I was working near their ground this morning at 5am (don't ask),and they had their water spinklers on full blast on the pitch.It got me thinking.Does the Brimsdown pitch get watered at all in the summer?

Yep, Southport downs a few bottles of red followed by a firkin of beer and spends the weekend peeing all over the pitch!

If you don't like the away colours it is probably too late to change this year but get involved in the selection process for next year with Paul, Scott, Les and Auntie. Don't forget though what ever kit is chosen has to be comfortable, cleanup well after getting washed and not rip from the first shirt tug. Oh and it must not go see-through in the first downpour like Waltham Abbey Celtic FC <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> kit used to do lol!

And must be totally different colours from the Home kit and have nothing to do with an old club most of us followed!!

Because Les devotes his time and energy to the club all I do is give money. Time is more valuable than money as all of us have only so much time and cannot have any more.

 

Anybody can make more money if they want to!

Yes it does but not as much as we'd like to be able to do.
