Chopper, I think you are in danger of digging a bit of a hole for not only yourself but those fans who continue to offer you their fullest support.

I think Chopper's more concerned about facing the prospect of playing for a club with no supporters next season,rather than worrying about whether or not he got a 'thank you' from his previous clubs website.

It seems to me that the Committee has found itself between a rock and a hard place here. In trying to deal with the matter, for the sake of all concerned, sensitively it finds itself accused of not being open with supporters. Yet had the club 'washed its dirty linen in public' it would have brought embarressment on individuals and to the club itself. Of the two options, it seems to me that it chose wisely.

 

I suspect the overall picture might look rather different this time next week. I'll get the humble pie in!
