......to see there is still nothing on the ETFC website regarding Andy Hall's departure from the club.

It has been news on here for a good number of weeks, yet still, despite headline news on the website of other lesser players & coaching staff, there is nothing on The Towns only real legend in its short history.

I would have thought there would be a lengthy piece with good luck messages & thankyou's from the chairman, members of the board, management team etc.

This is not a dig at the website as it has been updated reguarly with other news items.

Very, very disappointing.

Andy has moved on and it hurts him all this bitching, sadly it wont bring him back, so I am told

I don't think it has anything to do with what happened behind the scenes. It's the total lack of appreciation for Andy and the 'not sharing' of information that doesn't help. Other players have moved on and it has been recorded in the local papers where it gets more coverage than on here.

 

A vote of thanks wouldn't hurt.

Andy, on all of this there are 2 sides to the story, sometimes management dont get the thanks they deserve, god I have been there, 7 years at junior level, but one thing is for sure, Chopper I think will explain his side one day and then the management can have there say, then you lot can move on.

ha ha...you never learn zody do you....what goes on in the changing room and the boardroom stays off the terraces/forums....

its the unwritten law of footie at all levels and should stay that way...those that break the laws of footballs equivilant of 'omerta' are destined to remain outside for ever...

Totally agree Unc, however does that stop the club thanking an individual player who has played in all but a handfull of games over 5 seasons for their efforts?
Andy probaly couldnt give a monkeys, he knows the "real" fans recognised & appreciated his efforts, and god there were plenty of them.

As a supporter of ETFC I find the lack of public thanks either in the local press or on the website embarrasing, shame on the individuals responsible for this snub.

my response was to the mad mullah of rumatoid....

I do however agree with you and share your sentiments....good and loyal players should always be recognised.....players move around and thats footie...I did when I was younger...but I'm not sure that all club officials have got the hang of this forum/webbo thingy.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Chopper has cleared all the rumours up on another thread.
He basically said that etfc made him an offer of a new contract which he turned down.

It sounds like he is no longer under contract to etfc and is now a free agent.

Jim, Stone Cold is correct, Andy has indeed clarified his position on another thread, it was his statement which led to my disapointment about his treatment.

Undoubtedly there will be an excuse forthcoming from someone, somewhere that will clear everything up...... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />.......

 

I wonder if it would take so long to thank/congratulate someone from the board/management for doing something? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />
