Hamid's Departure

I thought Hamid was excellent in the game against Farnborough & was easily man of the match, in tandem with Wilko.

Having said that, I was in the entrance to the tunnel during the 2nd half on Saturday (on my way to a toilet break to escape some of the agony) when the door to the dressing room flew open.

Out stormed Hamid, turning right & down the tunnel to leave the ground. Bondy attempted to talk to him, but Mr Barr just showed him his back. I avoided mentioning this until now, in case things were patched up, but if these actions came before Andy's decision to part company, then he did absolutely the right thing. I would have done exactly the same, in fact I had to restrain myself from an immediate posting on Saturday, urging just such action. Can you imagine any of the established players doing this?

Team Spirit is everything. All individuals are dispensable, doubly so prima donnas.

If that is what happened looks like Andy was right, i also gave Hamid man of the match against Farnborough, but his overall commitment was lacking, also a bit worried about Gary Abbott as well, at the moment we need players with fight and commitment to the club, we need cover in depth which is why Booth and Watts should have stayed both i am sure could of played against Kettering, hopefully Tim Cole and one or two others will sign this week and we can turn this around.

Too right. When Wilko came on second-half, although it was nigh-on impossible to create an impression in that match (!), you can tell he puts everything into his game. Another reason why it'll be nice to have Rob Owen, Duku and (eventually) Macca back - players who play for the shirt, not because they're looking to impress.

If he serves kebabs in the same manner that he served the club

then the kebab house will go bust within a week. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shotgun.gif" alt="" />

Mind you, he'd probably take the job then go for a trial with McDonalds the following week..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/biggrinangelA.gif" alt="" />
