I'm in 3rd position and 3 points adrift from the top spot. I was sitting at the top of the table for several games until Spain messed it up for me!

I finished the prediction League in 2nd spot. If Zidane's late effort had gone in I would have won it!

 

Oh well, see you back in the Prediction League in 2008! Well done to Mr Happy on being the next highest Towner in the competition.

Thanks DOY. I got up to sixth place by the end of the group stages but things went haywire in the knockout stages. Mind you I had Germany to beat Portugal 2-0 in the 3rd place playoff and that was the score with 10 minutes to go. Tuned in again later and two late goals so 1 point instead of 11!

 

It has been good fun. Well done to the organisers and all who took part.
