Squad for Ashford

I have it on very good authority that Tom Butterfield and Greg Deacon are in the squad for tonights game. Incidently both scored on Saturday.

 

Talking of Saturday, any comments, views etc. It'd be nice to hear from those/ anyone who were there (I'm sure I saw Webbo).

 

Wasn't the best performance by a long way, 2 goals conceded in 2 minutes to bring it back to 3 - 3, but I'll put that down to ring rust as we hadn't played for a month.

 

Next up this Saturday, Hoddesdon at home in the league.

I can confirm webbo was indeed there. Well, in the bar at least.

 

From what little I saw, Dean Stannard was head and shoulders above the rest (not literally, of course) and deserves another go in the first team. Should be interesting to hear how the other two get on tonight.

Hi Rob, I don't like to pick out individuals, but I felt Deano had a good game. He scored twice, the second of which was pretty special - wide right, outside of the right foot into the top left hand corner. I should mention the 60 yard ball from Darren Gibb to pick him out, but I'm not going to. The other scorer was Chris Seeby.

 

You're right about tonight, let's hope all goes well and they get a decent few minutes. I'm not going, we're training tonight, so maybe you can update me tomorrow.

There's no need to be like that Buzz..............anyway I haven't been well.

 

Assuming that we're talking about Matt, unfortunately yes he's injured. Just come back fron a 6 week layoff, plays 20 odd minutes for the Youth and out for 6 weeks again. He's damaged ligaments in his ankle.

 

I did see him last night in the company of 'girls', I'm more worried about that than his injury.

Sorry about the confusion HKS! I only know about him 'cause he is a mate of someone I work with. I should have remembered his name - remember Matt Jones who played for us? Silly question really!!
