So what, more precisely, are you looking for, ligs, old chap?

Preferred formation, first change, second? Strengths and weaknesses of the individual players in the squad? Their own individual preferred position on the pitch and their likely response to any given situation? Dead ball options? The detail of the overall way in which the likely first choice XI and the various permutations of substitutions that the manager is likely to make in the event of injury, of if Plan A doesn't appear to be achieving the desired objective?

That kind of stuff? Anything else?

Approximately how many words would you like?

Erm, yes, that's pretty much what I need. Are you spying on me?

Or to be more precise, I could do with:

Captain -
Corner taker -
Free kick taker -
Penalty taker -

Formation -
Width (Narrow, Normal, Wide) -
Defence (High line, Normal, Deep) -
Mentality (Attacking, Normal, Defensive) -
Passing (Long, Mixed, Short) -
Attacking (Quick, Mixed, Patient) -
Distribution (Wings, Mixed, Centre) -

The same for away tactics (if they differ from home)

As for Mr Lippiatt, a rating between 0 and 10 for:

Motivation -
Coaching -
Judgement -
Discipline -
Tactical Awareness -

And what does he typically wear on a matchday? (e.g. suit, tracksuit, long Mourinho-esque jacket etc)

Erm, that would be it (for now... )

I've just had a quick word with GHA EFM, ligs, old chap and he is going to "have a quiet word with you" later today.

I'm not sure whether the 'quiet word' extends to providing the information that you require, actually, but the smile on his lips didn't quite extend to his eyes, so I wouldn't rely on it, if you take my point. I thought it best to change the subject rather than press the matter on your behalf. GHA is 'one of ours' as you will appreciate. Best left alone if you take my advice. Try Braintree Town or the Wooood.

Tell me Rob. These chaps what are members of the Supporters Club Committee, duly elected at the AGM, by thge members. Is part of their role to look after the best interests of the members of the Supporters Club? That's the Supporters Club of St Albans City FC, of course, rather than any passing chancer who doesn't even know which County we play in.

Any idea when "ligs" joined the SACFC Supporters Club? Was it before or after GHA purchased a life membership?

ligs - Championship Manager, eh? Dear oh dear oh dear. That's like supporting MK Dons, or Weymouth...

Keep up the good work though, there must be someone out there who buys the game and appreciates your work.

Duly noted by the way, Rob.
