You'd be surprised that players do actually read forums prior to joining a club to gather an idea about what the fans' general mentality towards the running of the Club, current players and new signings is.

I remember not so long ago, reading on a club forum on here that mentioned a potential player felt disheartened by what he'd read on the forum and as a result turned the club down because of the way the fans reacted about his possible signing once it had leaked out.

They may be few and far between but it does happen. I would imagine Agents' publicity is worse than reading forums, but going on past experiences it's not really something I think our club wish to have happen again.

Ribbit, cut it out. I think you'll find i've never mentioned anyone's name so it doesn't really matter what I say. I think if you look up about 3 or 4 posts, you'll see one of the players has been mentioned, and it wasn't by me! Probably by one of your mates but thats ok i suppose!!!!

I can't see how speculating on a player's injury is worthy of threats like that Ribbit.

 

The rumour has been cleared up in this very thread, so I would've thought that all of us would be happy to learn that the injury is not as bad as first reported.

First off, speculating is unfortunately human nature and anyone can talk about anything they like. But due to the clubs request, i have only discussed names via private messages to other people on this message board.

 

Secondly, i seriously think you should cut out the rants as its bad for your Karma. i'd suggest you get some dinner, put your feet up for a couple of hours and then get an early night!!
