Big thank you to John Richardson, Ron Symes, Simon Williams, Emma & Gary Clark and Ryan Connell for coming down and starting the close season works.

 

Your help was much appreciated especially in the heat of the mid day sun (hey, mad dogs and Englishmen....)

 

A special mention must be made to Les Bridge who has given up his time for the past couple of weeks, working around the club.

The new season will be upon us soon, so if any of you can spare a few hours to help over the next few weeks, it will, as always, be appreciated.

 

Please remember, we have a small army of helpers who help throughout the season, not just the close season, and this work which is undertaken by a few, is for the benefit of the majority.

 

We (Billericay) are fortunate to have an army of helpers who give their time in varying degrees throughout the season, whether it is an hour here and there, or a dedicated job/task which is undertaken, we the fans appreciate it. Without the volunteers, BTFC, would cease to exist.

 

Keep up the good work, and let’s hope we are rewarded with a season of good football.

A few more people came down yesterday...the usual suspects and Paul Jennings, Adam Thomas....

 

The "Cow Shed" has now had it's lick of paint and the rails behind the Blunts Wall Road end has been done.

 

Weeding and sweeping behind the opposite end terracing has been completed and the stand opposite the clubhouse was done as well.

 

Work has started on sprucing up the dug out, which will be finished next week....

 

The club, I'm sure, would like to thank all those that made the effort.
