As you all know i am an optimist and looking at our performances so far the reasons that i can think of to why we have not played that well are as follow; Against Paraguay we played well in the first half but i think the heat got to the players and therefore we struggled. We did not give Trinidad & Tobago the respect they deserve and they raised there game and dropped our game. Against Sweden we went in the game half-heartedly and going out for the draw

Optimist or not can you really see our lads taking this trophy Alex? Give all the excuses you like but I really dont think they are up to it. But with a slice of luck I suppose anythings possible.

If we play like we did in the first half yesterday for 90 mins + injury time then I think that we can take the trophy, but as Cookie said you need a bit of luck to succeed, whoever you are.

No, but i have been saying that all along. If we dont improve our defending before Sunday then we will lose to Ecuador simple as, but i was trying to come with ways to why maybe we did not perform to our best in the group stages.
