hen these people do not buy the Chronicle, receive the Free Weekly News, recieved the home coming leaflet, listen to local radio...

 

Come up with something positive Localfan, I'm beginning to wonder why you bother...

 

Les , we have allowed other local teams notably Billericay & Tree to steal the march on us , they realised that with the correct 'spin' the press,radio .internet etc are are powerful force in generating fan interest , so much so that a City paper (the Chronicle) now appears to be 50/50 with Ricky , the ricky people are to be congratulated on hat , fair play to them. Whilst we have been pratting about with leaflets they have used more powerful and possibly cheaper mediums to increase there respective fan bases.

Take the Haswell departure , surely a JK 'exclusive' in the EC & on Essex Radio , with a feature on the website , simply wishing Michael well , but the club is moving onto bigger & better things & have several exciting targets lined up blah blah......

What you have said above is far too imaginative for this board......hey lets leaflet Melbourne again!!!!

 

Billericay is wiping the floor with us and I'm suppose to sit back and take it............??????

 

CCFC have a web site have they??? Who actually in Chelmsford knows about it..........no one....Chelmsford City back in Melbourne are they.......The Board at Billericay talk to their fans...you know those people who turn up and dig deep regardless of income on a weekly basis......

Indeed, although I have to say I don't think leaflets are a bad idea as part of a "balanced diet".

 

It seems they can't even give stuff away without a ruck.

 

Never mind, I'm sure St Jeff will soon bring the masses together as one.

....er, I think one of the problems with "Sir Jeff" at Canvey was that he couldn't bring the masses together as one....

 

...and as CCFC have divisions within their ranks, I can only see it getting worse.

 

Still, not our problem....

Great line on the Ryman forum tho...Someone described CCFC as Canvey Rent Boys....quality.
