The rumour - as only one has been put forward on here - is of us signing a left back from AFC Wimbledon. Which would make me think Simon Sobihy.

 

But, of course, it's all just rumour.

Am I the only one who thought that despite his moaning, he was a quality left back and without his presense at left back was missed.

 

Plus he scored some fantastic goals and wasnt afriad to shoot from outside the area, something we are definitely missing.

 

Would definately like to see him back.

No Tom, we missed him big time last season as in the centre of defence we had no pace at all. Good player and i'd be happy to see him back.

 

Just a question if there were any dressing room problems as Murph certainally liked to voice his opinion!

i would agree with that would like to see him back, it can be a good thing to have someone to moan it can have a positive effect, but i can see where you are coming from marcus.

I thought he was very good as well Tom. Added a bit of pace at the back and wasn't afraid to take on a long shot as Gravesend found out. I never thought his moaning was that big an issue. Perhaps he will end up at Hampton though.

Sargeant would have been a great signing. With regards to Murphy, I also think we missed him badly last season, and I rated him as one of our better players - a good solid defender with a bit of pace, who could also push higher up the pitch as a wing-back as well as playing at centre-half or left-back.

 

I too would like to see him back alongside Daly and Avery although I also wouldn't be too surprised to see him end up at Hampton!
