Recently i have noticed that manny people have been slagging steve off at every oppertunity win, loose or draw.what ever your opinion of browne is he still is our manager.and it looks like we are gonna be stuck with him.my personal opinion is that we should get behind him and support him all the way-until the end of the season anyway!!.im quite confident he can get us promotion this season, however if at the end of the season we are still stuck in this division i may have to start agreeing with the majority of the fans that think its time steve should call it a day.until then ,whatever you think, please get behind steve browne - it cant do any harm! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smilie_switch.gif" alt="" />

I must say I agree with the above, I have never been a big fan of Steve Browne, but I think he is getting things right finally. Just a few points about saturdays game made me think about it. For example Ryan Spencer was getting lots of the ball on the right, but doing nothing with it, so he swapped Byron and Ryan and we got a better supply of crosses into the middle after that. I just wish he didn`t chop and change the team so much. I know injuries and suspensions play a part, but it doesnt do much for team work, that is why we never know which Slough team will turn up to play.

The Byron thing shows exactly why he is no good. Every Slough fan knows that if Byron plays it should be on the right or in a free role. We can't afford the free role. So stick him on the right. He cuts in, goes outside, takes players on and looks dangerous. He seems lost on teh left. He scored Saturday from the RIGHT and was promptly put on the left! Ryan is not a natural winger and is out of position on either flank.

But fair play to Brownie he has made the squad stronger and more physical. I think both signings could do well given the chance.
