MK Dons are suffering - Fan action has desired effect!

Saying all that.I do feel that Merton council and The FA must accept some of the blame for the fact that there is a football club called MK dons currently playing in Milton Keynes.


PS..Let me make this clear.I would never insist that other clubs shouldn't play them ,or that any protests or other actions should be taken against MK Dons.All i'm saying is,i can understand when supporters from other clubs are not happy about their club organising a pre-season friendlies against them.I also bare no ill will to the original Wimbledon fans that have continued to support the club.

Many clubs in the league/premiership no longer play at their original ground or indeed under their original name. MKD just pushed the boundaries even further, galling for their fans, who sadly couldn't take over their club. But hey, football's a business now, the higher up the worse it seems to be.

I have already said I agreed with you so how am I backing Brunob up! What I DID say that you cannot argue with someone without attacking them. I have said this to you before. How can you accuse BRunob (one of the most positive people at the club!) of only writing negatively about the club he lives and the fans. Absolute hogwash! Brunob makes some intersting points as well. Try accepting them and discussing them without attacking him. And again dont come that he started it codswallop!

The fact is LS - you do not accept that others can have a differing viewpoint without taking it personally. How many others have I had an open row with on this forum - despite different footie team support or perceived political differences. errr....none. How many others have had a go at you? Blimey someone even started a poll between you and Zody.....

I do not have a grudge against you - I haven't got a clue who you are so can't think than can be right. You have said this before

I DO, however, think that you can be a tad negative, and a bit quick to critisise others. (note use of words like tad, and a bit, so dont overreact)! The fact is that there are those who won't even read this forum anymore, and guess why. I even stopped coming on here for a while!

Look .The only four people who i have ever had a disagreement of views with on this forum,is the TOTE posse' of Yourself/Arky/Tom, and Brunob.I get on fine with every other Town fan on this forum and most of the fans from all the other clubs as well.So maybe (just maybe) the problem is not coming all from my side.

 

Hey,i got on alright with you lot as well,until i gently teased you last season about being Guardian readers and spoke honestly about our forward-line. (again something that everyone else agreed with me on,except the TOTE posse & Brunob).Can you see a pattern emerging?

 

Look,i have been on the receiving end of constant snide,negative and dismissive remarks from the four people i have mention above,since last season.As a result,i probably did overreact to Brunob when once again he took someone elses (anyone elses) side over my own.When on this occassion,he was probably just agreeing with a person who held the same views on the subject of MKDs,as he did himself.Maybe i'm just getting paranoid about you four now.

...c'mon - it is hardly just us four!

...and as for being the TOTE possee - you seem to have forgotten the rest of us! For what it is worth I have had many, many,discussions with the TOTE guys over the years. But that is how life is. WE don't attack each other - no matter how differing our viewpoints are! And believe me they have been widely differing. The point is that forums and discussions are about discussions and accepting that others may have a valid view point that differs from your own. Don't take the fact that people disagree with you as a point for attack and try to see that others may juist see life from a different angle. This is unfortunately true UU. The YCFC story of the last few years is not as straightforward as it first appears. I actually voted against signing over the majority of the YC Supporters' Trust 85% share over to our Managing Director. I only hope my fellow trust members, don't discover, over time that they should have voted as I did. I hope my fears are unfounded. The Tust now only has a 24.9% share!

It's bad news about Barking and East Ham United going into bankruptcy. I hope they do well in the ESL. Having said that a trip to see Town against the Heathens should be a great away day.

I did not say our forward line was perfect just that have a go at someone who was trying was not the best way of doing things.

 

The idea of a Franchise sticking to their area is a funny one when people from the other end of the country will wear a shirt and claim to be a supporter or even when a club wants to move a part of themselves into another area when that area already has football clubs just because their franchise has a bigger profile and more money.
