Have the Germans peaked too soon?

Didnt they play well tonight.Hate to say it but they are looking good.Admittedly they havent really faced a "class" team yet but no-one can say they havent done the job well.Can they sustain this form into the next stages? Hope not & dont think so.Yes, they are at home but in amongst better opposition they might not turn out to be as good. Germans were "Poles" apart from Poland tonight. Poles would have been satisfied with a draw, & they played for it too as it would have kept them in the game/tournament,so to speak, but their negative attitude saw them lose a game that,with more positivity,could,I repeat,could have got something out of.

Good couple of games by Germany with good use of their wide men but have they peaked too soon?.

i thought germany were the best of 2 poor teams, they struggled to punish a 10 man team and really never looked like scoring till the end. if there peek is beating poland who cant defend and have no attacking play what so ever then we have nothing to worry about.

i also didnt think they were much good.poland were terrible.neither of these will go close.best team so far check republic by a mile then spain

spain and check republic,thought the germans looked better than us against better oposition though,but they have played their games later in the day with not as much heat

Indeed Spain were very very good.However the Ukraine are no great shakes either.The rely too much on Shevchenko.Without him they would be even worse. Teams that display good form early on tend to fade a bit later on & vice versa.Its all about coming to your peak at the right time I think,near to & in the final.Thats when it really counts.I doubt the Spanish & Germans will perform to that high standard too mant times during this world cup.The teams that start slowly tend to finish off better in which case theres some hope for England eh?
