Current mood - very annoyed, especially after all these promises he made us and the players he's recently signed. Why not resign whent he premierships clubs were after him, rather than the championship ones....all very odd to me

Just a personal opinion. I couldn't see you staying up before he resigned.

i think you wouldve struggled depends on who you get in now

yeah we wouldve struggled no doubt about that but we all felt we could manage it and that parky would work his magic and get us more players on the cheap of the danns type quality. obviously its going to work different now. even if he does stay his heart wont be in it

You need to keep the likes of Danns and Halford if you are going to survive next season.

Well Danns was going anyway and Parky said to us he'd get someone just as good if not better in. And fans of Preston and Hull say that Parky's going to them and taking Halford and Danns with him

We heard it was either Coventry or Birmingham, that was around a week ago though and nothing more has come of it. He refused the final contract offer and is out of contract this summer anyway

That would be a good move for him. Cureton is a good signing though. His record at that level is second to none.

Curetons main influence for signing though was probably Parky

I don't see the point in hating Southend. I quite like them and always have. There's no question where my allegiance lies, but I just don't understand the need to hate a team leagues above us.
