I would just like to say what a wonderful 3 years I have had at slough and would like to thank you guys for your support. You are undoubtedly the best fans I have ever played for and Slough will always be in my heart. Also I would just like to thank you for all the wonderful comments even the one saying I was thick, that made me chuckle.

I would just like to clear up that the move wasn't money Orientated and anyone who knows me knows that I always think through my footballing decisions carefully. I am on no more than I was at Slough and I can assure you it was no where near £400 mark although it would have been nice.

I wasn't very happy at Slough last year as I was disillusioned at what direction the club was going.

I would also like to add I had offers from higher leagues but none that I could honestly say were challenging for ought.

I also think I may be able to learn a few new things under my new manager.

Throughout my stay at Slough Eddie has done a fantastic job for us on a limited budget and a club without a home. He wasn't just a manager but a mate.

I would like to end saying thank you to the players, management and fans and I wish Slough every Success

81 goals and a never-say-die approach to every game from someone so young is quite an achievement these days. I'm still pretty surprised we held on to you for so long, but still a little miffed it was Hampton. Still, all the best for the future. That goes for Glen Harris, too. It was a pleasure cheering you on.

Cheers for coming on the forum and explaining (sort of) why you left. Worrying for us fans that it was about the direction the club was going, but then being homeless is crippling us.

Good luck to you both, but I am deeply sad that you think Slough has no prospects...yes maybe at the moment things are bad very bad...but we as Slough Supporters have taken some very bad beatings in the passed few years...but still pride ourselves in hoping and doing things to make a turnaround...very few teams experience success in their history, and I beleive even with our troubles Slough still strives to sort them out and move forward....its a real shame your not with us to help us...
