I think that everyone was disappointed with the result, performance , attendance and the rush for the exit on Saturday. But as a club we are miles better than we have been in recent years.

Most reasonable people would have settled for finishing fourth from bottom at the start of the season and that has not changed. We are approaching half way through the season and we have not been in the bottom 3 at all.

This is what I call success at this stage of our development.

But we are only half way through , so its important that we all get behind the team and make sure we pick ourselves up after our poor run and get a result that will bring the confidence back.

Hopefully it will start at Nuneaton on Saturday, if not lets hope its against FGR the following week.

Don't give up on the boys, because as someone who has been around a while, we've never had it so good..

I dunno about you, I have really enjoyed this season and have got a taste for Conference footie, I don't want to drop down again, and I will do my utmost from the terraces to make sure this doesn't happen.

PS. Talking about Nuneaton - Super Daz - I am going up by choo - choo on Saturday, is there any trouble on tracks.

Keep the faith guys your season as been very similar ours(MARGATE) last year.A very good start, out of the cup early(we won't go in to that). It all went to [****!!****] for us coming up to christmas and new year ,we went 10 games without a win including a loss at home to bottom of the table dover much like your game with kettering.Crowds dropped to below 1000 and people started to panic that the team wasn't up to it.Trust me you looked a good side in the fa cup and things will turn round for you.

But saying that can we please have the points at christmas/new year we need them more than you at the moment! [color:"blue"] [/color]

How disappointing to see no good words for kettering in that bitchin' session. How can we be the worse team to play at your place including yourselves? That has no logic whatsoever considering kettering won 2-0 comfortably. To call our defence [censored] is also laughable considering you didnt cause them any trouble at all. How did you work all that out?

Support your club instead of ranting and raving.

Now, now. I think there was passing reference to your fans' good support and at least three people commented on the fact you deserved to win.

But it's a Gravesend message board, mate. If we wanted to discuss Kettering, we'd be banging down your door. Unfortunately, our display left little room for forming a Kettering Appreciation Society, and was more a soul-searching session for ourselves.

To accuse Nick Burton of suddenly becoming a [censored] player seems a bit harsh.

Since he got clobbered at the Woking game his ankle has permannetly been a nice shade of purple, and has trouble even walking on it during the week. The injury was diagnosed and the cure was 6 weeks complete rest, before light training then building up to playing. The most he has been out is for three weeks, and then he was straight back into a game. He has been having pain killing injections to be able to play the last few games.

Considering the above, it is no suprise that his form may have dipped slightly. However, it is no coincidence that he received the first player of the month award, prior to picking up his injury.

Can't defend him about being a short-[****!!****] though, and as for being Welsh AND ginger............

Those of us at the reserve match against Grays would have seen him out jumping Carl Leaburn throughout the match, and he is as tall as any striker we have come up against this season.

Not from what I can make out.

11.05 from Gravesend to London Bridge,

get to St Pancras - 12.25 to Leicester,

13.39 from Leicester to Nuneaton

arriving in Nuneaton at 14.06 with the ground only 15 mins walk.....

.....or a bit earlier if you want a few beers.
