They have been granted licence to share the excellent facility at Mile End Stadium with Sporting Bengal of the Kent League. The previous " sharers" Crown and Manor are not continuing at that venue.

I'm sorry LC but I have to ask the obvious question.

Why are Sporting Bengal not playing in the ESL?

Being a bastion of diplomacy, I pass on that question, suffice to say that all our clubs who were members of the ESL three years ago when Sporting Bengal applied are aware of the very difficult position we found ourselves in regarding the ground criteria at the time. It is history that this fine club have applied themselves very well in the Kent League and as I previously commented, Mile End Stadium, three years on, is now an excellent ground that even has a number of facilities far above our Step 5 membership criteria of " F " grade . I am hoping that the application of Beaumont Athletic will pass the F A 's National League Committee and will give you all an opportunity to visit this new venue in London for an Essex Club that shares with a Kent club .... how's that for a puzzling example of geographical boundaries ?

LC. Perhaps when you have a spare moment I wondered if you might be kind enough to post the criteria for ground grade 'F'.

I think that I can speak for many of my fellow ESL club supporters when I say that it appears to me that grading the FA criteria from step 4 downwards appear to be extremely harsh and unrealistic considering the financial and support circumstances that exist for many of the clubs who play in them.

Strange...we asked to play there this season and we were ignored by the top people at Tower Hamlets council. The same thing happened at Terence McMillan Stadium where Apsa now play. Don't want to play the 'race' card but its funny that two Asian sides have been given help getting a ground yet we were told we couldn't play there.
