The only thing I will say in defence of the papers is that they are employed to do such a job and as a result will often be ringing Roy & Eddie to get any snippets of news they can from the club as they have space to fill each week.

 

None of the team on the site are in a position really to be doing this and we more rely on the club feeding us information, than us actively going out to get it. That and quite often there's nothing to tell and we don't have space to fill week-in, week out, to fill up with utter rubbish like the Express seem to be doing about us.

In the observer today it says Denton has secured the service of a new striker from a conference south side but the player has not yet been named. Eddie also went on to say that he has one or two goalkeeping options available if he is unable to get Clark Masters back.
