Thought I'd post this over here, as I know Gazza will be sad at the news of this great keyboard player's passing at the age of 59.

 

Of course, he is most famous for his work on the Beatles' Let It Be album - Get Back in particular - but I believed he forged a reasonable solo career for himself too.

 

That's The Way God Planned It, for instance, is a relatively unknown classic, I reckon.

Hmmmmm.....

 

"With You I'm Born Again" was a No. 1 hit and a duet...

 

I'd prefer to remember the man for his keyboard playing on the Beatles "Get Back" and the film of the same name. Also his hit "That's The Way God Planned It".

 

He also did some session work for the Stones which was quite good...
