News from Mr Foster is encouraging though - he states that he has already sold more tickets this year than for the whole of last season. And we haven't even got a team yet!!!!!

Your comments are extremely cynical these days Gazza - thank goodness the World Cup starts on Friday, so we won't need to persist with this good natured banter.

Get your point about loads of season tickets and no players though. However, I suspect we'll have a reasonable squad together by 19th August, as will your goodselves (and at least half a dozen other clubs no doubt).

I'VE never had the BBB effect Rick. I've supported the Clarets since 1960, and have witnessed enough evidence in that time to know that NOTHING can be taken for granted in this game. I'm a realist, and will take next season as it comes.
